Matt Wright

Matt Wright is a Senior Risk Advisor at First Residential with over eight years of experience in the mortgage industry. He’s held roles in closing, underwriting, and team leadership before stepping into risk advising in 2024.

Matt works closely with loan teams to troubleshoot tough files and find solutions that balance risk and opportunity. He became a Risk Advisor to have a wider impact across the company and help more borrowers reach the finish line. Outside of work, Matt enjoys sports, video games, and spending time with friends playing golf, disc golf, and bowling.
