Grant Portra

Grant Portra is a Risk Advisor with over a decade of experience at First Residential, where he’s held roles in closing, training, and underwriting. For the past year, he’s focused on identifying creative solutions for complex loan scenarios by helping loan teams and underwriters find paths to approval that others might overlook.

Grant enjoys problem-solving and is motivated by the opportunity to make deals work that might otherwise be denied. Outside the office, Grant enjoys spending time outdoors, especially hiking, hunting, and fishing.
